Billy and I are real crooks – shoplifting, car-radio stealing, handbag-swiping, breaking and entering- crooks… But now, we’re going to move on to bigger things.
In Hold-up, Bakelite Theater will take you through all the ‘how-tos’ of a great heist:
- How to stay alive … play by the underworld’s rules.
- How to survive a chase … watch out for Billy butterfingers.
- How to get around high-tech surveillance … always bring the right stuff.
- How to neutralize guards armed to the teeth … fight fire with fire!
- How to break into safes … bring your dynamite.
- How to relax under the palm trees … don’t forget your beach towel!
Expect thrills, spills and nail-biting suspense in this comic crime caper as these high class cat burglar wannabes lurch from one near calamity to the next!
Stick Up! is based on a true story told by godfather to godson and has all the best elements of a classic heist – from scaling skyscrapers and high octane car chases to run-ins with the mob and ticking timebombs, Stick Up! provides you with the blueprint for the perfect crime.
Bakelite Theater motorizes, tinkers, tunes, tortures, uses and misuses everyday household appliances to help you experience all of the excitement of a hold-up … live!
Dexterous wit takes centre stage in a tale of a bank robbery animated by countless different gadgets. Digital media is fused with automated detritus to awaken the imagination in a piece that wows because of its sheer ingenuity.
