HEAD OF administration, production, DISTRIBUTION

Charlène Faroldi has been passionate about dance and drama since she was five years old. She trained in the performing arts (taking the dance option in her school-leaving exam in Falaise and obtaining degrees in the performing arts – dance from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis and the University of Tallinn in Estonia, as well as a Master’s in Cultural Outreach from the University of Aix-Marseille). Following a number of assignments at the National Centre for Musical Creation (GMEM) in Marseilles, in 2010, she joined the team at Kelemenis & Cie and helped launch KLAP Maison pour la dance (KLAP House of Dance).

As Production and Outreach Manager, she provided support for Michel Kelemenis’ artistic projects and those of the artists in residence. She also helped coordinate various festivals, including Question de danse, Plus de danse à Marseille, Festival Les Musiques and Actoral.

In June 2014, she was hired by Bakélite and moved to Brittany.
At the same time, she has worked on other artistic projects (with Mélanie Del Din’s company Les Charmilles in 2015, Pénélope Parrau in 2016, Fanny Bouffort from 2017 to 2018 and Sébastien Laurent’s company Moi Peau from 2014 to 2021). Since 2015, she has also worked with the Lillico association and the Marmaille festival, fulfilling various roles (visitor services, ticket office, bookkeeping, administration).

Today, Charlène is in charge of administration, production and outreach for Bakélite and provides support for the work of Olivier Rannou, Aurélien Georgeault-Loch, Alan Floc’h and Guillaume Alexandre-Brault.
She is also an active member of the Jungle association – a collaborative creative space in Le Rheu. As well as being a member of the organising committee, she coordinates and manages the Panique au Parc festival.
